National Association of Realtors – India (NAR) is all set to host the 8th annual convention once again in August. Block the dates – 13th and 14th August 2016 at Pullman, New Delhi. New Delhi Aerocity will hold a series of rich programming, educational sessions and an abundance of networking opportunities in the field of real estate.
The National Association of REALTORS is America’s largest trade association, representing over 1.1 million members, including NAR’s institutes, societies and councils, involved in all aspects of the residential and commercial real estate industry. In India, it is regarded as the single national level umbrella organization representing the interests of thousands of realtors/brokers operating all over the country. The core aim of the organization is to elevate the standards of practice of the real estate brokerage business to a global level where ethics, transparency, accountability, rule of law and good governance prevail. India has several thousands of realtors or brokers operating in over 35 metropolitan cities. The main theme for this year’s convention is going to be ‘Today towards Tomorrow‘ putting forward the futuristic vision of NAR-India and expanding real estate market. The Convention would focus on discussions around ongoing debates in real estate market development and sustainability of smart cities, both in India and abroad. NAR India would also be revealing their agenda for year 2017 with social ceremony of announcing Samir (Sam) Chopra as the new president of year 2016-2017.
The event is likely to witness participation from more than 100 International and 900 national delegates. The event will have the presence of eminent guests including Dr. Najma Akbarali Heptulla, Former Minister of Minority Affairs, Mr. Mohit Arora, CEO, Supertech, Mr. Sachin Sandhir, RICS, Mr. Ashwinder Raj Singh, JLL, Ms Ananta Raghuvanshi, DLF, and Mr. Sanjeev Kathuria, ATS, amongst others, to deliver speeches and lectures and engage in panel discussions to enlighten the gathering. They represent interests of large corporations on the one side and domestic consumers on the other. NAR-India aims at becoming the most credible voice of realtors in India. The organization further aims to change the image of realtors from unprofessional brokers to professional realtors.
